A Different Kind Of Love Chapter 8

He started to smile

Naruto couldn't believe that his dad and Sasuke were on the boat,with legs,trying to save him.Naruto listened to Minato's talk with Kizashi,"I wouldn't mind having him.He looks like quite the prize and i'll pay anything for him.""Well then if that's the case,let's go talk about a price inside.""Of course,but i'm gonna go check him out first."Minato walked over and Naruto asked,weakly,"Dad how did you know i was here?"Minato smiled and said,"You've been missing all day and i saw this boat,the boat your mother was killed on,and i figured that they were the same mermaid hunters and they were trying to get your tail this time."Naruto said,"That man,Orochimaru,wants me as a pet and..."Minato cut in and asked,"Where's your necklace?"Naruto nudged his head towards Mebuki and said,"She took it..."Minato nodded and walked back to Kizashi and Mebuki.They walked into a room with Orochimaru and Sasuke came running over.He started untying the rope and said,"Dobe...you got in one hell of a mess."Naruto smiled and said,"Shut up Teme,Dattebayo..."Naruto lowered his head and Sasuke started untying faster.

After getting the ropes off Naruto,Sasuke put Naruto's arm around the back of his neck and dragged Naruto to the edge of the boat.As he started lowering Naruto into the speed boat they were using Naruto said,"Wait...Hinata and Sakura are...locked in that room...You have to...get them out..."Naruto's breathing got really labored and he said,"Please...help them..."Sasuke cursed,put Naruto down,and started picking the lock.Once the door opened,Hinata ran to Naruto and said,"Naruto i'm so glad you're ok!"Naruto smiled and said,"You shouldn't yell...or else they'll hear us...trying to escape..."Hinata felt Naruto's skin was really dry and she started getting worried.Sakura started asking Sasuke a question and Sasuke said,"I've got a girlfriend..."Hinata rolled her eyes and Sasuke said,"Hinata,help me lower Naruto onto the speed boat."Hinata nodded,got up,she climbed down to the speed boat,Sasuke handed Naruto to her,and she placed Naruto in the back chair.Hinata pulled out his necklace and said,"Here.I think you would want this back."Naruto nodded and Hinata put the necklace around his neck.

After a few seconds,Naruto screamed and his tail spilt.Hinata gasped and Sasuke and Sakura ran over and asked,"What's happened?!"Hinata said,"I don't know.All i did was put his necklace on him and his tail split."Sasuke looked at Naruto's tail and it had only transformed half way,but his webbing and fins were gone.Sasuke asked,"Why didn't you transform all the way?"Naruto shook his head and there was a loud thud from the front of the boat.Everyone looked at the front and saw Minato and he shouted,"We're getting out of here now!!"Minato turned the boat on and as he hit the gas a cage drops over Naruto and pulls him back up.Naruto was lowered into Orochimaru's boat and Orochimaru walked up to him and said,"Now that i've paid for you,you're mine and i'm taking you home."Naruto spat in his face and Orochimaru opened his cage and slapped him.Orochimaru told his drive to start the boat,he did,and Orochimaru turned back to Naruto.He leaned down and said,"Naruto you're going to need to understand that i'm your master now."Orochimaru raised his hand and Naruto curled up into a ball.

Naruto waited for the hit to come but it never did.Naruto saw his necklace glow again,he looked up and saw a barrier around and Orochimau tried to break through the barrier.Naruto stared at Orochimaru as he tried to break through the barrier and Orochimaru yelled,"Damn it!"Naruto flinched as the barrier start to crack and Minato and was driving full speed to catch up to Orochimaru's boat.The barrier finally broke and Orochimaru started beating Naruto,yelling,"You're mine now!If you ever forget that,i swear i'll make you wish you were never born!!!!"Naruto whimpered and Orochimaru started hitting him harder and harder.Finally Naruto sat up and yelled,"Stop it!"Fire shot out of Naruto's hands and it burnt Orochimaru to a crisp.Naruto eyes widened and he looked at his hands,wondering how he just did that,the smell of burnt flesh hit his nose,he looked up at the body,and puked.Minato jumped on the boat,saw the burnt body,picked up Naruto,and threw him in the water.

Naruto took a deep breath and felt a sharp pain as his tail mended back togther.He slowly started to float to the bottom of the ocean floor when Minato caught him and swam upwards.Naruto smiled and said,"Thank you Dad..."and fell alseep.Minato smiled swam towards the pier where Sasuke,Hinata and Sakura were waiting.Hinata smiled when she saw Naruto and Minato said,"I just wanted you to see he was alright.I know how much he cares about you and i'm sure he wouldn't want you worrying about him."Naruto opened his eyes and saw Hinata.He smiled and said,"Hey..."Hinata smiled and Minato said,"You should go back to sleep.You lost a lot of energy and it's gonna take a while for you to get all back."Naruto nodded,waved goodbye,and he swam home with his father.

After eating a small dinner,Naruto laid in his bed and Minato tucked him in.Minato laughed and said,"I haven't tucked you in since you were 7."Naruto gave a weak smile and Minato kissed him on the forehead.Naruto blushed and Minato said,"Goodnight Naruto."As Minato left the room and Naruto said,"Goodnight Dad..."Minato closed the door,Naruto closed his eyes and fell asleep.

It was late and Hinata rubbed her eyes.She looked at her clock and it said 1:00 am.She sighed,laid in her bed,and said,"I'm glad Naruto is ok.But it still bothers me that Naruto didn't transform when his tail dried and it bothered me even more when i put Naruto's necklace on him and he only transformed halfway..."Hinata sighed and decided she'd ask Minato about that in the morning.Hinata closed her eyes and started drifting off to sleep when she felt a hand over her mouth.She opened her eyes,gasped,got hit on the head,and blacked out.
